Today was the 2008 Ultimate Frisbee Tournament at Skyview. Their was a total of 5 teams. The game style was double elimination. The weather was perfect, not too much wind and not too hot.

The first match was my team, James Horacek and the Snidely Whiplashes, vs The Senior Team.  We won that match 9 to 5. Because of our victory and our seniority over the freshman, we got a bi victory and didn't have to play the next match. We were in the finals and had to face our hardest match ever. It was us against the Bus Drivers (aka the sophomores). They were surprisingly good! All of them, standing at least 6ft tall, athletic, and pretty hardcore guys were waiting to defeat us. The match started and we were losing 3 - 0. Well... we figured that this was going to be hard, but nevertheless we continued on! We made back the three points. It was just before half time, when Daniel was deciding to be super cool and slap James in the eye. haha, it was an accident, but it was pretty funny. It took him a few minutes to recover, but he made it. Unfortunately I didn't get to operate on him.

In the end, the score came to an end at 12 to 9 points. Who claimed the victory? It was James Horacek and the Snidely Whiplashes who pulled it together in the last 5 minutes, scoring 4 points!
